Rachel is a professionally certified coach and higher education transformation specialist, whose approach exemplifies Dataqubed’s commitment to human-centred design and delivery. She holds an ILM Level 5 Certificate in Effective Coaching and Mentoring, along with a Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education Administration, Management, and Leadership, validated in partnership with A.H.E.P.
With deep experience across the entire student journey - from initial enquiry to graduation - Rachel specialises in practical, people-focused improvements that make digital transformation not only effective but sustainable. Her work blends operational insight, coaching principles, and an understanding of what really matters to applicants, students, and staff.
Rachel brings particular expertise to the recruitment-to-enrolment phase, where she has led high-volume operations involving over 23,000 applications and 8,500 enrolments per year. She designs scalable, resilient processes that withstand pressure points like Clearing, while still delivering a positive experience for all stakeholders.
Critically acclaimed as the author of Surviving and Thriving in Higher Education, Rachel is known for her ability to bring calm clarity to complexity. She connects policy and data with people and practice - ensuring that system improvements are not just technically sound, but embraced by those who use them.
